Marilyn has been featured on Animal Planet in two episodes of CATS 101. One episode showcases her clicker training technique and client interactions during a segment on Bengal cats. Another segment includes Marilyn sharing her expertise about “Klepto” cats and OCD behaviors.
Radio
Known for her quick wit and depth of subject matter, Marilyn enjoys guesting on popular radio talkshows throughout the United States and Canada, taking calls from listeners and answering their cat behavior questions. Awards
Marilyn’s book Cat Fancy’s Naughty No More! Change Unwanted Behaviors through Positive Reinforcement, published by BowTie Press won the Tidy Cats Feline Behavior award and aMuse Medallion in the 2011 Cat Writers Association Communication Contest and is also top rated in the Ten Most Wanted Cat Books for 2011.
In addition to the book winning the awards, Marilyn won a Muse Medallion for her articles Cat College Cat Psychology 301, 302, 303 on catchannel.com.

Marilyn shares her advice each month with readers of Cat Fancy Magazine and its website, catchannel.com, as the resident cat behaviorist. The annual editions of Cats USA and Kittens USA also have featured her knowledge and expertise.
Marilyn is often asked to contribute articles to professional journals, including Catnip, the prestigious monthly newsletter produced in cooperation with The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She also has written for Animal Behavior Consulting: Theory and Practice, the IAABC journal, Bengal Tails, The Bengal Bulletin, Cat Fancy Magazine and other publications.
Talks & Presentations
Marilyn also gives presentations, talks and classes on cat behavior throughout the United States. She already has quite a few presentations scheduled for 2012. These include presentations at the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Bay Area Pet Expo in San Jose, California, The San Mateo Counsel for the Blind and at the annual conference for the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
